Tempest Suite

Program Notes
The Tempest Suite, written for one piano four hands, is comprised of music originally written for a staged production of Shakespeare's play in 1991 at the University of Texas, Arlington. The suite extracts five movements: Come Unto These Yellow Sands and Full Fathom Five (sung by Ariel), No More Dams (sung by Caliban), and the Banquet and Marriage Scenes. The suite was premiered on May 11, 1991 at the home of David and Carolyn Barros in Ft. Worth, by Larry Wiley and the composer at the piano.
